Hyde Park Residence - 2
Our main goal was to create a spacious and cheerful living space for our client, Hala, despite the constraints imposed by the low ceiling height.
To maximize the sense of openness and make the space feel larger, we employed several design strategies. First, we focused on using light colors for ceilings to reflect as much natural and artificial light as possible. This helps to create an illusion of height and makes the room feel brighter and more airy.

Additionally, we incorporated large windows and installed sheer curtains to allow ample natural light to enter the space. Natural light not only enhances the overall atmosphere but also helps to visually expand the room.
To draw attention away from the low ceiling, we utilized vertical design elements such as floor-to-ceiling curtains, tall bookshelves, and wall-mounted artwork. These vertical elements create an illusion of height and divert the eye upwards, making the ceiling appear higher than it actually is.
